Fun>Da<Mental

Fun'Da'Mental have been on the cutting edge and breaking new ground since they began in 1991. Fuelled by the same ethos as Public Enemy, smashing down 'stereotypical' theories and causing mental confusion, pushing two or more opposing concepts and making something new, transforming and recreating musical ideas. Sampled political speeches from historical figures such as Malcom X, Louis Farrakhan or Mahatma Ghandi merge with layers of Zikar, Qawali music, African folk, Aboriginal, all held together by the driving force of hardcore hip-hop beats.

Family of God

Family of God are Adam Peters and Chris Brick...
FOG are a group of people dedicated to making music that if there was such a category would fall under "experimental entertainment". The individual players realise that the word individual is taken very lightly and do not in any way consider themselves to be individuals but strive to become individual. In the search for what is really new they stagger through the junkyards of the past. The sounds that are made by F.O.G. are not planned or centred around any kind of result. The melodies are discovered without effort and the words come via a flow of consciousness- making for a very tasty recipe.
